Pietro Carnaghi produces vertical milling machines with movable portal (Gantry type). They are characterized by extremely innovative technical solutions and with high quality features. The Unimill models are entirely made with massive structures, in which the linear axes are all hydrostatically supported. The passage between columns can reach 14000 mm. The length of the table is modular and changes according to the customer’s request. The UNIMILL model can be equipped with a turning table, so as to constitute a complete solution for all possible necessary processes, while maintaining the characteristic of a milling machine. Mechanical compensation system is integrated to guarantee the structure balancing settlement. Temperature adjusting system can be integrated (as optional feature). The change of accessories and tools is automatic, with systems of tool chains, magazine discs or movable pick-ups for heavier accessories. To complete the universality of the operations that can be carried out, there is the availability of a wide range of accessories and milling heads.
